UnitedHealthcare – Interactive Content in a Digital, Mobile, Social connected campaign

Challenge

UnitedHealthcare is the largest single health insurance carrier in the U.S. Through research and customer feedback the brand measured negative consumer sentiment and low customer satisfaction ratings. Insurance is a negative purchase for consumers overall, so UHC needed a fresh, new way to change the perceptions of their audience.

Solution

Zig created the We Dare You campaign to dare UHC’s audience to take a small step every day to live a healthier life. Aligning UHC to healthy living enabled consumers to see the brand as a health company rather than an insurance company. Secondarily, by encouraging customers to live healthier the campaign may have an affect on the lowering of claims, which improves profitability. The campaign integrated interactive content, digital media, mobile media, social media, influencer marketing and promotions to keep the audience engaged.
